Ryohei's 2018 Goals (rough translation)
"Last year, things didn't go well and nothing stirring happened. This year, I want to make good things happen that will set my heart on fire.
I was able to acquire new skills on pommel horse. On parallel bars, I want to do a front dismount, and I want to improve the execution of my current vault and floor routines.
It's important to keep your strength and body under control during competitions. Even so, I want to be able to put out powerful performances."
絵馬に「熱い１年になりますように」と書いたのは加藤だ。
「昨年は何事もうまくいかず、熱く燃えるような出来事のない１年だった。今年は心が熱くなるような良い出来事を起こす１年にしたい。そういう思いを込めました」
「成果としては技のレパートリーが増えたのが一番。それをどう演技に組み込んでいくかですね。種目別で言うと、あん馬以外では平行棒の下り技を前方系にしたいと思っています。跳馬やゆかは現段階の構成をいかに精度を上げるか」
「試合では力を出しすぎないように、身体をコントロールすることが必要。その中でも勢いを出していきたいと思います」
